About
The nonprofit organization P.A.W.S. was founded by compassionate citizens of our community that want to end the plight of abandoned and abused companion animals. We are the people that can’t pass a starving animal at the side of the road. We see the searching look in their eyes and know that the gift of unconditional love that they can bestow on a human companion has been thrown away like garbage on the side of the road.
Their trust and desire to serve human beings is not a value to many people in our modern “disposable” culture. People think that the local animal control facility will find homes for animals that are dropped off, most face certain death.
The number of abandoned animals is staggering and animal control has no choice but to put down these unwanted animals, because the public doesn’t do their part by spaying and neutering their pets.
Our humanity is measured by how we treat less fortunate creatures and the members of P.A.W.S. would like to make a difference and improve the quality and quantity of life of the animals in our area. Won’t you join us and make a difference?
