Due to a recent increase in fosters, we are in desperate need of dry dog food. Donations can be dropped at Petco in Florence or Southern Package on Hatch in Sheffield. We also accept monetary donations or gift cards. Any amount helps!

Microchip Clinic will be held May 12th at the Petco in Florence from 1pm- 3pm. The cost is $20. Please print and fill out the following form prior to the clinic. ASPCA SPAY AND NEUTER GRANT

The PAWS Spay/Neuter Program has received a grant from the ASPCA to help families in Lauderdale, Colbert and Franklin Counties who receive Government Assistance have their pets spayed and neutered. The program allows a family to have up to 4 animals a year altered and is designed to help control the overpopulation of dogs and cats in this area. Programs covered include: Food Stamps; Medicaid; Disability; WIC; Assisted Lunch; Supplemental Social Security; and Heat Assistance, as well as a few others. If you feel you meet the qualifications and would like more information, please go online to www.shoalspaws.com or call 256-383-0690 and leave a message on the spay/neuter line. There is a $20 co-pay for the first animal and $10 each for the second, third and fourth. You are required to provide proof of your eligibility for the program in order to qualify.

Black male cat, 1.5 years old & 11 lbs. Has a black spot on the inside of one ear. Missing since 3/21/12 from Sheffield Village/Rivermont area. Ink Spot is VERY friendly.
