Noah’s Story

Noah2Noah1Noah3

Noah began his life in a beautiful countryside home. The solid-white, blue-eyed kitty with the odd (yet adorable!) bobbed tail had only one thing holding him back: he was deaf. Usually, this wouldn’t be a problem. Deaf cats lead happy, healthy, frisky lives. For a country-cat, though, it added too much danger. Neighboring coyotes made outdoor-living all but impossible for the little guy, as he couldn’t hear them approaching. His human family realized they could not keep him indoors, either, as the husband had just been diagnosed with a form of cancer and couldn’t be exposed to cat dander. So, poor Noah was relegated to a cage in a hot, isolated garage. His caretakers were heartbroken; they loved him, but knew they could not provide a good life for a fellow with needs like his. They made the loving decision to allow him to be adopted by a family who could give him that happy home.

Noah came to live with the Miller family. Having recently lost a beloved cat — who was also white, blue-eyed, and deaf — they were aching to fill the void in their home. So off Noah went! He immediately took over the house, bossing not only his humans, but their dog and other cat as well! He had all the treats, cuddles, and paper balls (his favoritest of toys) he could ever want.

Now, Noah is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the newest member of his family: a baby (human) sister. His mom lets him and his feline partner in crime, Mia, climb around the crib and investigate where their new sister will be sleeping. They must give it their approval, after all!

This sweet little boy had a tough beginning, to be sure. But now, he has found more love than he ever imagined with his family, and that truly makes this one very happy (and bobbed) tail! :)
